A new photo exhibit by the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural HistoryThis exhibit celebrates the success of the Wilderness Act that was adopted in 1964 and, to this date, has defended 109 million acres of American wilderness. Over 5,000 submissions were made, and only a few selected, bringing to life the majesty of US mountains, tundra, forests and wildlife from all states
